To take our growth to the next level, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Controller to oversee our financial performance and ensure the accuracy of our reporting. Our dream candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and an interest in driving business development. You will be a key business partner to Sweden's management team, providing us with insights that can be translated into data-driven decisions and drive financial performance. Our Controller has a key role in the organization with great opportunities to continue to grow and develop their responsibilities over time.
Your job as a controller:
- Develop and implement financial controls, budgets and forecasts to support business objectives
- Perform tasks such as monthly financial statements in close cooperation with our external accounting firm
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for decision making
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) and recommend actions based on financial trends
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies with our partners.
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or accounting
- Proven experience as Controller or similar role
- +2 years of experience in external and/or internal accounting
- Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial modeling and forecasting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets and preferably CRM systems
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organization
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from a fast growing company or similar industry
- Proven experience in identifying and driving process improvements
